Rooted in the idea of a perfect day out, the Schweppes Urban Picnic identity was designed to evoke a sense of freshness, joy, and spontaneity. Inspired by the idea of a bright, carefree day in a culturally rich city, the design combined playful icons, illustrations, and a Kannada typographic system to reflect regional pride and inclusivity, which added a thoughtful regional connection, tailored to the event’s local audience.
Balancing nostalgia and modernity, the design celebrated simple pleasures and everyday moments—reimagined through Schweppes’ contemporary lens. The final visual language brought together lighthearted storytelling and inclusive design to capture the spirit of a lively, urban gathering.
