In the first semester of my MA, I explored deconstruction as both a theory and design method—breaking down visual language, questioning format, and embracing imperfection. The weekly 10x10 tasks allowed me to experiment with process-led making through collage, layering, and recontextualisation. These micro-experiments helped me step away from polished outcomes and focus more on process and interpretation.

These explorations led to Not a Zine, a publication that challenges traditional zine formats by disrupting narrative flow, structure, and material. This project reflects my evolving understanding of design as a tool for inquiry, not just outcome.
